Obligation noting that Thomas Messervy, on behalf of his wife, daughter of the late Thomas Jeunes is oblidged to pay Philippe Larbalestier on behalf of his wife, daughter of Clement Gallie 10 cabots of wheat of rente.

Context:

L/C/112 Amy Collection. The Amy Collection was deposited with Jersey Archive by the Société Jersiaise in 2002. The collection had been accumulated by the Société during the later half of the 20th century. The material deposited with Jersey Archive in 2002 potentially consists of 3 separate donations; 1) the main Amy of Patier Collection donated in 1972 by F P Le Quesne, 2) a collection donated in 1946 by A Amy - this collection was then removed from the custody of the Société but returned later - it is not clear whether all the collection was returned, 3) a collection donated by G Balleine in 1969. Unfortunately it is not clear from the boxes exactly which box of documents relates to which collection. Therefore, when cataloguing the collection the decision has been made to keep the documents within each box togther and to indicate, where possible, which box relates to which donation.

L/C/112/L Box Ten - Amy [of Catillon] family. Original bundles of documents within this box have been kept together and each catalogued as a separate series. Loose contracts in the box have then been catalogued as a series in date order as have loose documents.
