Petition to Sir Francis Bingham, Lieutenant Governor; William H V Vernon, Bailiff and the States of Jersey from Charles Hill & Sons, The Ald Steamship Co Ltd and The Plymouth, Channel Islands & Brittany Steamship Co Ltd objecting to the Reglement passed by the States on 15/03/1927 which agreed permission to build a depot for the storage of petrol at the rear of La Folie Inn, thereby making it a necessity for tankers to enter the harbour.
