Karen Poole, employed at Air Traffic Control, and the daughter of Miss Battle of Flowers 1958, Peggy Poole (née Sheather), was crowned Miss Battle of Flowers 1980. Miss Poole is pictured in image I (beside Rod Hull). Miss. St. Mary (1980) is present in image L (beside Rod Hull). President of the Tourism Committee, Deputy Clarence Dupré, is also present (see bottom of image A: balding man in glasses).
