Images of Air Raid Precaution exercises held on Victoria Avenue at West Park, and watched by spectators from Westmount, West Park Pavilion and the Lower Park. The images include the treatment of casualties, the demolition of a structure, fire fighting, unearthing pipes, working on overhead electricity cables, and the use of a Noel and Porter removals van as an ambulance [see JWP 29/10/1938 p4]. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 4 of Red Contact File 11 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.
