Contract between Charles Poingdestre and Jean de Carteret joint tenants after decret of the heritage of Edouard Perchard and Anne de Ste Croix his wife of the first party, and Elie Loreins son of Jean of the second party. The said Charles Poingdestre and Jean de Carterett tenants have agreed that they will lease for themselves and their heirs to the said Elie Loreins a certain piece of land named the Clos de Louis with hedges and walls on the said clos adjoining on one side the land of Philippe de Ste Croix and the other that of Moyse de Ste Croix in the Parish of St Lorains [Lawrence] on the Fief de St Clair, the said lease is taken on condition of the duties of the tenants of Clement de Carterett Seigneur of the said Fief de St Clair, Jean Baudains 6 cabots of wheat of rente, other tenants are to pay the sum of six cabots of wheat and 2 chickens due on the Feast of St Michael.

Copy of the testament of Marie Baudains. Dated 16/12/1783. Desires to be buried in the parish of St John. Bequeaths £8 of the order of the King to the poor of the parish of St John, to be distributed by her executor to those judged to be suitable. £8 to the heirs of Edouard Baudains and to Jean Baudains her nephew an equal sum. The remainder of the estate, goods, furniture and silver judged to be of suitable quality after her death is left to Jean Baudains her nephew and Marie Baudains his wife as a token of the esteem in which she holds them. Appoints Jean Picot as executor.

The subject of the accord is the douaire of the said Marie Baudains on the heritage of the late Mary Saviour. The said widow is to have lifetime enjoyment of the bakery and solier [cellar?] underneath, together with other rights including the fruits of the orchard and the right to draw water, on the condition that she conveys rights to certain parts of the property to the principal heir in return for an annual payment of 17 Livres 6 sols 8 deniers of silver of the Order of the King [2 copies]

Copy of a Vente Session et Transport of rights between Marie Baudains widow of Jean Picot and owner of dower rights to his property, and Philippe Picot and Edouard Picot younger sons of the said Jean Picot and his widow of the first party, and Jean Picot older son of the late Jean Picot of the second party. The said widow and Philippe and Edouard Picot reliquish all rights to the succession of the deceased to Jean Picot on the condition that he pays all rights and debts due on the heritage and that he and his heirs pay the said Philippe Picot and Edouard Picot 300 Livres of French currency and a bed each, and the said Marie Baudains [widow] the sum of 111 Livres and the same furniture and other furniture that she bought herself. The amount of 333 Livres 12 sous 9 deniers of silver.
