Images which relate to a visit made by His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Lieutenant General Sir Arthur Edward Grasett to a the store in St Helier where the ninth distribution of Red Cross parcels was underway on Sunday the 7th of October 1945. His Excellency was welcomed by Dr J R Hanna County Commissioner, Order of St John and Mr Oscar Aubin of St John Ambulance who was in charge of the distribution. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 16B of Red Contact File 18A from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.
