Images of Christmas parcels for service men in France during the Second World War which were from Major and Mrs G Le M Gruchy [see JWP 16/12/1939 p 4]. The images include two ladies. The images were produced from the negatives depicted in Contact Sheet 13 of Red Contact File 15 from the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive.

Images which relate to the flooding of the village of Lynmouth in north Devon on the 15th and 16th of August 1952. The images feature Mr Troy presenting the gift of a cheque for £5,800 to Mrs Dorothy Slater, Chairman of Lynton and Lynmouth Urban Council. Mr W A Tall and Mr L Ridge, Town Clerk also appear in the images [see JWP 20/9/1952 p 1 and 3].
