| Scope and Content | The Liberation Anniversary Committee was appointed by Act of the States dated 29 May 1984 to arrange the celebrations to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Liberation from enemy occupation and to consider the celebration of Liberation Day in the future. The Occupation and Liberation Committee was appointed by Act of the States dated 28 June 1988. The Committee held its last meeting on 4 February 1996. |
