Scope and Content The Treasury and Resources Department manages the Island’s finances and assets, ensuring the protection and good use of public funds. It is responsible for all taxation, States budgets and financial policies. It reviews all States activities and spending to ensure resources are being applied in the most effective way. The Department also manages States buildings, the allocation and monitoring of public sector manpower levels and represents the States in publicly-owned companies.
