Testament of John Hammond Wimble, La Chasse, St Helier. Dated 29 October 1929. Bequeaths to the Home for Infirm & Aged Women 100 5% shares of £5 in the Jersey New Waterworks Co Ltd; to The Little Sisters of the Poor £50; to The Jersey Swimming Club any bonds on the said club for cancellation; to the States of Jersey Rentes Publiques to be cancelled. To the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the UK £1000 of 5% war stock to be cancelled. All other preference shares to the Jersey General Dispensary and the Home for Infirm & Aged Women. From the Capital of Trust Funds after the death of the last surviving annuitant: £20,000 to the President of the Education Committee of the States of Jersey to use to create the Wimble Scholarship for pupils from Victoria College. Codicil added 9 April 1930
