Images of Princess Anne on a royal visit to officially open the Gaherty Reptile Breeding Centre at Jersey Zoo, Trinity in her capacity as Patron of the Wildlife Preservation Trust. Images include Princess Anne being taken on a tour of the zoo by Gerald Durrell, addressing members of the public gathered for the opening, unveiling a plaque commemorating the occasion and being shown a tortoise in the newly opened reptile house. The Lieutenant Governor Sir Desmond Fitzpatrick and his wife Lady Fitzpatrick are also pictured entering the reptile house [Image Q].
