Images of the 1979 Battle of Flowers parade along Victoria Avenue. Includes images of children dressed as liquorice allsorts [A - B], and performances by a bagpipe band [C] and Danish marching band the Tivoli Youth Guard [D - E]. Also includes images of the winners of several contests waving to the crowds, including Miss Jersey and Miss Southampton Carnival Queen [F - H], Miss St Helier and Miss Channel Television [I - K] and Miss St Peter and Miss St Mary [L - M].
