Scope and Content	Refers to Witness 171 being placed in a detention room on 1 August 1975 for being suspected of stealing money, commenting on his behaviour and attitude. Gives details about how Witness 171 did considerable damage to the detention room over the course of an evening and the following morning. Notes that Smith was informed of the incident, before Witness 171 was interviewed by Centenier Germain and Detective Constable Anserson and taken to the Police Headquarters. Notes Witness 171's apperance at a special sitting of the Juvenile Court charged with causing malicious damage to Haut de la Garenne totalling £1,000 where he was remanded in custody by the Magistrate. Refers to discussion regarding arrangements in respect of the care of Witness 171, expressing opinion that Witness 171 receive psychiatric help, commenting on possible long-term impact and behaviourial issues.
