Scope and Content	Refers to the transfer of babies from the Westaway Crèche to a new Nursery Wing at Haut de la Garenne on 16 February 1966. Includes comments about the transfer and the mission statement of the Children's Sub-Committee. Provides statistics with respect to the number of children in residence at Haut de la Garenne as at 28 February 1966 and the usage of the detentions rooms during [February 1966]. Includes comments about the admissions of eight children to Haut de la Garenne. Reasons cited for admission include financial difficulties of parents, mother's admission to the Marie Lousie Ward at the General Hospital, admissions on request of the Children's Officer, the Probation Officer and the Police, and admissions on remand from the Police Court. Includes comments about the discharges of seven children from Haut de la Garenne, including a child boarded-out with a couple and children discharged to the care of their mother. Also includes comments about staffing changes, referring to the arrival of non-residential and residential staff at Haut de la Garenne.
