Scope and Content	Gives details about her childhood and experiences in care at Haut de la Garenne for a period of 4 to 5 years from 1976/77 when she was aged 11. Recollections of running away from Haut de la Garenne on multiple occasions, describing being upset and confused by being sent to the home following family upheaval. Includes recollections of children in residence at the time, including Witness 185. Recalls sharing a bedroom with two girls including Witness 185, with whom she was good friends. Describes witnessing Witness 185 be subjected to emotional and physical abuse by Morag [Kidd], referencing punishment for bedwetting. Descriptions of emotional abuse, neglect and bullying by Tony [Jordan], mentioning the punishment block. Recollections of standing up for Witness 185 when she was being abused by Morag and being punished as a consequence. Recalls discussing, in French, an incident whereby Witness 185 was abused with a woman in the laundry, noting the woman's reaction. States that verbal, physical and emotional abuse was commonplace at Haut de la Garenne. Recalls a male resident telling her that he had been abused by Tony.
