Scope and Content Provides details of a visit to see Witness 138 at the Police Headquarters after being informed by Detective Constable [Detective Sergeant] [P H] Turner of the Criminal Investigation Department that Witness 138 had been found and that Centenier Robbins of St Saviour had been informed. Refers to Witness 138 absconding from home, noting that he was missing for a number of days before being being reported by his father, as well as a long period of Witness 138 truanting from school. Includes remarks about the relationship between Witness 138 and members of his family. Details subsequent conversation with [Witness 138's parents] about him being admitted to Haut de la Garenne, noting their reluctance despite acknowledgement of considerable difficulties at home. Refers to [father's] lack of awareness of the fact that Witness 138 had been truanting from school, discussion about the relationship between Witness 138's parents and reference to Witness 138's involvement in a bad accident when he was aged 6 as possible cause of behavioural difficulties. Refers to arrangements made Witness 138 to be admitted to Haut de la Garenne following agreement of parents.
