Scope and Content	General: Outlines the intentions of the Adolescent Service Team during 1989 and an overview of progress during the period January to April 1989. Comments on the creation of a combined team of Child Care Officers and Residential Child Care Officers supported by volunteers. 1. Established Posts a) Includes comments about the recruitment process of a male individual due to finish a Social Work qualifying course in July 1989. Outlines plans for his role in the community assessment of individual children and their families and for carrying out treatment plans using resources at Heathfield. b) Refers to a considerable extension of the role of Officer in Charge at Heathfield following the development of a widened and extended response to meet the needs of children and families. Notes that the post of Officer in Charge has been re-evaluated to equate to that of Senior Child Care Officer. c) Refers to a post from Heathfield being earmarked for employment at the Hostel for Homeless Young People once established.
