Scope and Content	Details pressures on Residential Services in Jersey, referring to 24 children requiring residential care between La Préférence and Heathfield [Children's Homes], both 10 bed institutions. Describes the impact of the use of Greenfields as a specific Remand Unit on other Residential Services. Refers to the emergency establishment of a child care unit at Newways (formerly a Family Centre) in order to protect the welfare of a family of 5 children. Comments on the difficulty in accommodating the children within current resources, and provides figures relating to the cost of the unit for 2004. Refers to the position of the Acting Chief Executive with regards to the resources available on Jersey to provide residential care for children, noting Greenfields' use a specific remand facility and the findings of Dr [Kathie] Bull's Report.
