Scope and Content Mentions the opening of a third Family Group Home at 13/14 Clos de Roncier in March 1965, noting that a sudden death in April 1977 led to the reorganisation of Family Group Home provision in the island and subsequent decision to close the home. Notes that the property was returned to the Housing Department in June 1977. Refers to the development of Family Group Homes as the identified strategy for residential placements alongside Haut de la Garenne. Refers to the opening of the second Family Group Home at 108 Clos des Sables in September 1964 and its closure in 1988/89 following a police investigation and prosecution of the housefather. Notes that a fourth Family Group Home opened at 9-11 Blanche Pierre Close in May 1967, and includes comments about the property, houseparents changes and its longevity.
