Scope and Content Refers to the Family Group Home at Nicholson Park, explanation of the roles of the house mother and house father and permittance for houseparents to have their own dependents. Includes comments about the voluntary sector, referring to the closure of Teighmore and departure of Barnado's children by 1957 and continuation of the Sacré Orphanage and Brig-y-Don Convalescent and Holiday Home, commenting on the impact of the development of Haut de la Garenne in 1960s on Sacré Coeur.
