Scope and Content | 1. Meeting dated 13 February 1995. Lists Chairwoman [Caroline J] Garthwaite, [Children's Officer] [Anton] Skinner, Mrs Pinel, a member of Brig-y-don staff, and others as present, also noting apologies from other individuals. Matters Arising: refers to the Association of Jersey Charities. Report: refers to admissions, discharges, Outreach, and the Playgroup. Refers to a resident visited by consultants, also mentioning management, professors, appointments, and one to one attention. Notes that although the resident is beginning to respond, no other children can be admitted to Brig-y-don due to his presence. Details deterioration in the behaviour of one resident, mentioning verbal and physical abuse to carers, and dangers posed to other children. Refers to a consultant from England, and a clinical assessment to take place in the New Year. Refers to relief provided by the Children's Service, and states that a transfer to Heathfield [Children's Home] would be inappropriate, recommending instead a foster placement where no other children are present. Refers to the behaviour of the resident's father, and commends Brig-y-don staff for their attention with regards to the resident.
