| Scope and Content | • Summary of Information about Grouville Home for Girls in respect of Jean Pamela Neil (Parker) Refers to Grouville Home for Girls opening in 1862 and closing in 1959 whereafter children moved to Haut de la Garenne becoming a mixed children's homes. Refers to information elicited from annual reports for the period 1935-1938, noting that number of children in the Home throughout 1935. Notes that no records or photographs are available for the period from 1939 to 1946. Provides details about Jean Pamela Parker, notig that she was born in 1935 at Jersey General Hospital and admitted to Grouville on 16 October 1941 with fees for her upkeep chargeable to the Prison Board. Notes that she was discharged from the Home in January 1951 to work in St Saviour.
