Scope and Content Sets out details of changes to staff suspensions policies and procedures following decisions made by the States Assembly on 30 April 2009. States that an employee being suspended must be given the right of representation and be clearly be told the reason for their suspension at the point of suspension. Notes that a formal review of the suspension by a panel of three public employees will take place after 28 days and every 28 days thereafter in the form of a hearing, outlining the terms of reference of the panel. Refers to responsibility of departmental HR Business Partners for the organisation and administrative arrangements of reviews of suspensions. Also states that panel members are selected from a pool of volunteer States employees and that staff representatives are to be advised of these developments.
