| Scope and Content | Includes details of a discussion about Witness 264's association with a former resident of Haut de la Garenne. Notes that he recognises the former resident's name and provides his account of how he came about visiting Haut de la Garenne, stating that he would take out groups of children for trips to the beach, café or cinema. Recalls being asked by staff at the Home to take children out after being invited by someone associated with Haut de la Garenne who he met in a bar. States that there was no vetting procedure and that he had no choice over who he took out. Includes a description by Witness 264 of visits to the beach, stating that both boys and girls came on these trips and asserting that never undressed or dressed the children. Also recalls trips to the cinema, stating that the manager would give tickets to the children for free as long as he paid for his own. Includes recollections of children who he took out, stating that he has no recollection of the former resident having coming out with him. Refers to boy who came to stay with him and his wife.
