Scope and Content Expresses concern at the high levels of incidents that children and young people seem to be reported as missing from care, providing numbers of such incidents recorded by the States of Jersey Police. Includes comments about the risk to children, concerns about their safety and wellbeing, costs linked to policing such incidents and crime statistics. Acknowledges that current strategy is not working, noting need to seek a longer term sustainable solution rather than just be reactive. Suggests a case conference approach.
