Scope and Content	Refers to a discussion with Simon Thomas (Police Legal Adviser) about the investigation into Jane and Alan Maguire, noting questions raised concerning any possibility of abuse of process. Sets out details of five specific points raised and research requested and outlines response to each of the points. Points discussed include: why allegations of sexual abuse made against Alan Maguire were not proceeded against at the time; what was said to the Maguires in court about the case being dropped; changes since the decision was made and whether the original decision was wrong; Mr Maguire's actions since he was told of the decision to discontinue; and whether any new facts have come to light since the decision was made to discontinue the case.
