Mr Bisson speaks about the days leading up to the liberations, hearing Churchill's speech, the Union Jacks flying at La Pomme d'Or, visiting the German fortifications, the rationing after the war, the Red Cross parcels, helping during the Royal Visit and working at the airport. Mrs Bisson speaks of talking to british soldiers during the Liberation, exploring the underground hospital, working for the Public Services department and the Jersey General Investment Trust, the rationing after the war and the Royal Visit. Mr Bisson speaks about his involvement with the scouting movement and how it works, the prisoners of war, going camping, working at the Jersey Electric Compagny, his schooling, electricity and the Royal Visit as well as the visit of Field Marshal Montgomery. Mrs Bison speaks about her involvement with the Girl Guide Movement, what she did with them and what she learned, her marriage with Roy, the reception at Castle Orgeuil (now hotel Cristina), the honeymoon in Switzerland, and a protest against the Insurance act.
