Scope and Content | • Letter dated 12 July 2002 from Mr B I Le Marquand, Magistrate to Sir Philip Bailhache, Bailiff titled Re School Age Offenders and Female Young Offenders. Refers to three outstanding issues: lack of a female custodial provision at La Moye for 15 to 20 year olds; the unwillingness of the Home Affairs Committee to agree to the Youth Court being able to remand offenders to youth custody instead of to Les Chênes; and the refusal of the Education Committee to take young offenders on a residential basis after sentencing upon the basis of a probation order or a binding over order with a residency condition following a unilateral change of the rules relating to Les Chênes. • Letter dated 3 July 2002 from Sir Philip Bailhache, Bailiff to Miss S C Nicolle, Solicitor General titled School Age Offenders and Female Young Offenders.
