Scope and Content • Email sent at 11:56 on 28 February 2008 from Andrew Brown to Cathy Keir titled Comment for Inside Out South West URGENT. Refers to a film in production for Inside Out South West about child abuse in Jersey due to be broadcase on 29 February 2008 on BBC One, noting request for an interview with Senator [Frank] Walker. Refers to having talked to five people who alleged they were physically abused by Alan and Jane Maguire whilst at Blanche Pierre Family Group Home between 1986 and 1990 as part of the film. Sets out details of the allegations, refers an investigation carried out in respect of the allegations in 1990 and subsequent retirement of the Maguires, appointment of Jane Maguire to the Family Centre Service and investigation in 1999 which recommended Jane Maguire's dismissal for gross misconduct. Includes a number of questions in respect of the case relating to Jane and Alan Maguire.
