Scope and Content • Letter dated 21 August 2006 from Joe Kennedy, Manager, Residential Care to [a member of staff at Heathfield]. Copy sent to Mike Pollard and others. Informs the member of staff of his suspension from duty on full pay until further notice as a result of an alleged incident on 4 August 2006. Outlines restrictions regarding who the [staff member] may contact and his access to Health and Social Services premises during the course of his suspension, and refers to an internal enquiry on the matter to be conducted. • Email dated 21 August 2006 from Phil Dennett to Richard Jouault titled Suspension. Copies in Mike Pollard, Melanie Le Saint, Lynne Lusby, Joe Kennedy, Marnie Baudains and Tony Le Sueur. Recommends that the member of staff be suspended during the course of the investigation into allegations made against him, outlining suggested course of action going forward with regards to informing the staff member of his suspension and arrangements regarding the suspension. • Notes of an interview with the member of staff on 22 January 2007 concerning his return to work. Provides the member of staff's account of events which resulted in the allegation being made against him and which culminated in his suspension. Includes discussion about what the member of staff has learnt from the situation and his feelings with regards to returning to work.
