Scope and Content | Refers to a number of allegations made by Senator [Stuart] Syvret on his website and to the States Assembly in relation to Mr Lundy's behaviour during the time he worked at Les Chênes Residential School. Includes comments about the allegations and expresses concern that his rights under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005 have been compromised in respect of a disclosure notice. Details concern regarding the means by which Senator Syvret accessed sensitive personal data about him and the legality of Senator Syvret's use of this information to damage his reputation. Also includes comments about Senator Syvret abusing his right of parliamentary privilege by naming Mr Lundy in the States Assembly on 21 October [2008] as the senior civil servant subject to a disclosure notice, commenting on impact of this on his family and reputation and subsequent lack of sanction faced by Senator Syvret, suggesting a possible contravention of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005 by Senator Syvret.
