Scope and Content | Relates to refusal by the Attorney General Tim Le Cocq to reveal the reasons for not extraditing and prosecuting Alan and Jane Maguire in respect of alleged grave and criminal and common assaults, citing risk of political influence on the legal process. Refers to decision to discontinue the prosecution in 1997 and decision to not reinitate proceedings taken by William Bailhache during the historic child abuse inquiry.
