Scope and Content Provides details about staffing, outlines the aims and objectives of the unit, explains who can stay at Greenfields, describes the Key Worker system and sets out the rights of residents. Also describes the consultation process, details right to access to an independent advocate, details reviews of placement plans, explains policy regarding contacts, and provides details of the contents of each room, the facilities and services in the unit, and the education and recreation provision. Details approach to child protection and countering bullying, outlines policy towards religious instruction and observance and sets out the system in operation with respect to control, restraint and discipline. Includes a summary of the complaints and suggestions procedure, including details relating to written complaints and how complaints will be dealt with, details of advocacy services and outlines alternative avenues of complaint naming Phil Dennett and Marnie Baudains as points of contact at the Children's Executive and Children's Service respectively. Includes the Resident's Behaviour Charter, setting out expectations as to what residents must always and must never do with regards to behaviour. Also includes itineraries setting out young people's routines during weekdays in term time and on weekends and holidays.
