Includes: newscuttings from the Evening Post; a programme for a production of Sally at the Opera House presented by Kenneth Britton and Richard Whinnerah; a photograph of the German flag flying outside the Town Hall; letters from the Channel Islands Refugees Committee to Harold T Trott responding to a request for information about the welfare of Mr Trott's sister Ivy Robinson; and a Red Cross message from the Channel Islands Refugees Committee to the Matron of Jersey Mental Hospital enquiring about Mrs Robinson, with a reply from a doctor.

Scope and Content Includes newscuttings of: a notice issued by the Food Control Office regarding the distribution of new ration books including instructions to holders of ration books concerning meat and bread rations; a notice by the Milk Control Section outlining instructions for registration with respect to the Milk (Registration with Retailers) (Jersey) Order 1940; and a notice by the Island Commandant regarding the keeping of dogs on leads within the military zone.
