Scope and Content | Includes newscuttings of: a notice by the Field Commandant concerning the restoration of rations to former levels; a notice by the Field Commandant regarding local farmers engaging foreign labour without reporting the fact to authorities; and notices by the Food Control Office concerning the availability of saccharin, jam, chocolate cream and washing powder on ration. Postcard from W G Boalch refers to Louis [Louis Francis Jackson], Dot Burton, the death of Mrs Gordon Benett [Constance Fanny Benett, née Oldridge], the club [Jersey Green Room Club] and Tim [Douglas Lipscombe Sinnatt]. Postcard from D Saunders is a message to Mrs Sinnett [Sinnatt] and members of the Jersey Green Room Club. |
