Image of Mrs Peggy Poole and Miss Sonya Sampson of the Woodlands Hotel, who had been bathing at St Catherine's Bay on the 11th of March. Peggy was a visitor to the Island and staying at the Woodlands Hotel [see JWP 19/3/1955 p 4]. The backs of car with the registration numbers J 14978 and J 6826 can also be seen in the image. Negative number JSC WS3 from the Jersey Swimming Club (JSC) Subject Boxes of the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive. The negative was scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as a high quality jpg file. The quality of the scanned image is dependent on the condition of the original.
