Image, possibly of a Guernsey Water Polo Association team. The image probably relates to a water polo match at an Inter-Insular Gala in which Jersey beat Guernsey by eight goals to three to retain the Cornish Trophy [see JWP 3/9/1955 p 4]. Negative number JSC 47 from the Jersey Swimming Club (JSC) Subject Boxes of the Jersey Evening Post (JEP) Photographic Archive. The negative was scanned at 1200 dpi and can be downloaded as a high quality jpg file. The quality of the scanned image is dependent on the condition of the original.
