Various notes including quotations from Agnes Newton Keith's book about the Japanese occupation of Borneo with interjections by Claude Cahun in brackets applying it to the german occupation, a speech by Robert Neumann called 'Children of Vienna', edited by Victor Gollancz, London, 1946 and extracts from letters of Kurt Gunther, a german officer detained in the military prison in St Helier in March-April 1945 which were written in pencil and were pushed under the door of Claude Cahun's cell which they then hid in the lining of a coat.
