Colour film showing picnics at St Catherine and Petit Port, shots of Francis Foot gardening [he started the well known Foot records hop in Pitt Street, St Helier] and scenes at La Retraite, a traditional Jersey farmhouse. 2) 16mm b & w film of the Foot family. Shows a picnic at La Saie, Francis Foot and his son Reginald Foot, a family shed being demolished at Eglantine, Millbrook, women in traditional costume making black butter, Dora Foot, Margaret Foot, née Vernon, the wife of Francis, in traditional bonnet. Shots of the liberation of Jersey including the visit of George VI and Queen Elizabeth on the 7th June 1945 [poor quality]-19 mins 40 secs.
