Copy letter from Lieutenant Colonel Percival Touzel Assistant Adjutant at Government House to Lieutenant Colonel Malet de Carteret, informing him that correspondence re. the case has been forwarded to the Secretary of State for War, if his letters to Colonel Le Couteur are withdrawn accompanied by an apology he will be able to resume the Command of the North West Regiment if not the Lieutenant Governor will remove him from command of the Regiment and deprive him of his Commission
