Petition to the States Assembly on the pedestrian crossings on Victoria Road and Don Road presented to the States by J P V Falle, Deputy of St Saviour on 09/04/1968. The petition states, 'The traffic danger on Victoria Road, Plat Douet Road and Don Road, particularly to school children travelling to and from St Luke's School and Plat Douet School is growing continuously and has recently resulted in the death of one child and in injuries to four others, and accordingly your Petitioners pray that pedestrian crossings be installed immediately in the vicinity of the Plat Douet school exit, at the western end of Grasett Park on Victoria Road, and on Don Road near the junction with James Road and your Petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.'
