Photograph of Captain [Major] Edward Clark, an American officer who escaped imprisonment in a German camp at South Hill in January 1945, on returning to Jersey to thank whose who assisted his escape with Deputy Wilfred John Bertram of Grouville, who played a key role in Major Clark's escape, and a photograph of Major Clark and his wife Mrs Clark with Deputy Bertram and his brother Mr C Bertram at La Chasse, Fauvic.
