Photographs of Group Captain Douglas Bader in the cockpit of a Shell Petroleum Company plane at Jersey Airport, and of passengers and onlookers surrounding the airliner 'Giffards Bay', possibly G-ACYA, on the beach, a de Havilland Diana, which could carry 14 passengers and two crew. A bus can also be seen advertising 'Go by air to London, Southampton, Portsmouth'.
