Images of a bomb disposal operation carried out by the Royal Air Force (RAF) in connection with unexploded Second World War artillery shells found on the grassy common next to Mont Orgueil, Gorey. Includes images of a helicopter arriving, extracting a container holding the shells for transportation, and leaving for the beach at Seymour where the shells are to be denotated by controlled explosion, images of a crowd watching on at the process, and images of a States of Jersey Police officer coordinating the operation from inside a police command vehicle.
