Scope and Content

Includes: Sentence of judgment dated 2011 by the Inferior Number of the Royal Court, after conviction at Assize trial on 26 November 2010, of Morag Louise Jordan on 8 counts of assault against children and of Anthony Jordan on 8 counts of assault against children, all occurring at Haut de la Garenne. Mr and Mrs Jordan were sentenced to totals of 6 months' and 9 months' imprisonment respectively. Indictments laid against Morag Louise Jordan (charged with 36 counts of assault between 1972 and 1984 at Haut de la Garenne and Crabbé), and Anthony Jordan (charged with 12 counts of assault between 1978 and 1984 at Haut de la Garenne), dated 2010.
