Statement prepared form tape recorded interview at Voisin's Solicitors Office [Voisin Law] [Voisin Advocates, Solicitors and Notaries Public], Don Street. Background and Home Life Provides details of early life, naming parents and sisters. Institutions Recalls circumstances surrounding parents becoming foster parents, listing foster children in their care. Describes childhood as happy, comparing life at home to the television programme ‘The Waltons’, and recalling stories such as Arthur Ransome’s ‘Swallows and Amazons’. Describes house, mentioning staircase, lounge, playroom, garden, dining room, kitchen, utility room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Recalls naughty childish behaviour by two of the foster children and her sister. Events since leaving Care Comments on continued close contact between parents and two of their former foster children. . Refers to personal difficulties of one of the former foster children alleging abuse by parents, mentioning alcoholism and drug abuse. Mentions former foster child having stolen business from her brother, and suggests her allegations are intended as a method of obtaining compensation [to potentially spend on alcohol or drugs].
