Statement prepared form tape recorded interview at Voisin's Solicitors Office [Voisin Law] [Voisin Advocates, Solicitors and Notaries Public], Don Street. Background and Home Life Refers to period between 1969 and 1975 allegations of physical abuse concern, and her own birth in 1971. Lists sisters, and residence with children fostered by parents. Refers to older sister’s chicken pox. Refers to a foster child rescuing a puppy who became the family’s pet. Recalls playing with foster and biological siblings in the playroom, referring to all as her brothers and sisters. Provides details of the house, mentioning playroom, dining room, kitchen, garden, and bedrooms. Recalls being read Arthur Ransome’s Swallows and Amazons at bedtime. Recalls moving house due to her mother’s illness, and the foster children moving to La Preference Children’s Home. Recounts one of the foster children saying that he did not want to stay at La Preference, and wanted to go home with his foster family.
