Background and Home Life Gives details of background and early years at home. Born in Jersey in 1963 and placed into Haut de la Garenne at a young age, citing instability at home owing to parents' extramarital affairs and them constant arguing and fighting. Vague memory of seeing his sibling in [Westaway] Crèche. Institutions Recollections of numerous placements at Haut de la Garenne throughout childhood up to school-leaving age. Remembers four groups at Haut de la Garenne, naming Aviemore, Baintree, Claymore and Dunloose [Dunluce]. Recalls placement in Claymore and attempts by staff to keep families together within groups. Gives details of daily routine, mentioning punishment, mealtimes, leisure time and sleeping arrangements. Includes description of an intercom system in the bedrooms at Haut de la Garenne. Recalls experiences with staff at Haut de la Garenne as having been generally positive. Refers to a list of names of children and staff at Haut de la Garenne during Witness 122's time in residence. Comments on being thrown out of Haut de la Garenne aged 15 for misbehaviour, claiming to have been framed by another child.
