Mental Health Records: Refers to an assessment of Witness 195 in 2007, noting opiate use following an accident in 1998, overdoses prior to 1998, and history of drug use, mentioning heavy use of cannabis and recreational use of ecstasy and cocaine. Gives details of frequent use of painkillers and sedatives following a road traffic accident, and significant use of an opiate painkiller and sedatives at the time of the assessment. Details referral to a pain clinic and reduction in regular prescription. Also refers to Witness 195 being assessed in prison presenting with depressive symptoms. Psychology Records :Gives details of a letter dated 2003 by Ian Berry noting that Witness 195 had reported a significant improvement as a result of psychological treatment for post traumatic stress disorder.
