Refers to Witness 195's arrest on the morning of 18 November 2003. Provides information about Witness 195 including place and year of birth and prescription of medication. Starts with Witness 195 referencing his time at the children's home [Haut de la Garenne] for 12 years. Includes recollections of a male visitor to Haut de la Garenne who took Witness 195 out on day trips every Saturday afternoon. Descriptions of sexual abuse by the man in Grouville, on the man's boat at Gorey Harbour and in a picture house over a period of three years when Witness 195 was aged between 6 and 10. Notes inability to report abuse as a child. Includes comment by Detective Inspector Bonney reminding Witness 195 of the purpose of the interview and assurance provided to Witness 195 that allegations of abuse will be investigated. Follows with Witness 195's account of events in the months preceding his arrest. Describes seeing the man regularly by chance after leaving care, citing this as a reason for leaving Jersey. Recalls seeing the man walking his dog near a pub upon his return to Jersey. Describes being bought a new watch strap by the man when Witness 195 was a child. Finishes with conversation regarding making arrangements for Witness 195 to make a complaint in respect of allegations of sexual abuse by the man.
